Manuel Lopez Cano has spent the last decade producing and mixing sound for HBO, Netflix, Hulu, PBS, ESPN, and A&E Networks. Originally from Sevilla, Spain, he holds a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and spent 12 years building international software projects across Spain. He then trained in film directing at UCLA and traded code for the camera.
That engineer's instinct for structure, along with years as a competitive dancer where timing is everything, shapes how he approaches sound and story: nothing is ever a beat off. At La Gata Films, he brings that same precision to every project, guiding it from first conversation to final delivery, in English and Spanish.
